About me
In the new Millennium I decided that it was time for a career change.
I had been either been studying or working with computers since the age of sixteen
and quite frankly was bored with them.
I wanted to spend my time doing something fullfilling, something outside,
something creative and technically challenging at the same time.
I had a flare for photography, but did not want to become a full time photographer.
I wanted to become a cameraman.
Shortly after making this decision I took a gamble and resigned from a secure,
comfortable I.T. job,
sold my house and to their delight moved back in with my parents.
I went back into full time education and started a broadcast foundation degree
at Ravensbourne broadcasting college.
Two years later I completed the course and managed to secure my first job
as a
staff cameraman working for GlobeCast (formerly NewsForce).
Now with well over fifteen years filming experience, including over 7 years filming
national BBC News to audiences
of up to 8 million viewers,
I have filmed underwater and surface documentaries, music concerts
and at all of the major sports stadiums.
I regularly film ENG, hand held radio camera, multi-camera, PSC, long-lens, corporate and 'colour'.
I can honestly say that my career change to become a cameraman was risky, but
without doubt was one of the best decisions that I have every made.
You only live once.
So if you are looking for a talented, reliable and friendly professional cameraman,
one
who is always prepared to go that extra mile, please get in touch.
